Story
Sarso Genda had a way of brightening every room she walked into. Not because she tried to be the centre of attention, but because her enthusiasm for life's little joys was impossible to miss. She was the first to volunteer for decorating duties, happiest while stringing marigold garlands with music playing in the background, and always ready with a fresh batch of stories to share.
The mustard she wore reminded her of sunlit fields, haldi ceremonies filled with laughter, and the golden glow that settles over homes during festive evenings. Gold zari motifs bloomed across her cotton silhouette like tiny marigolds in full bloom, while the delicate buttis added a touch of sparkle to her naturally vibrant spirit.
But Sarso Genda also believed that celebrations were meant to be enjoyed comfortably. She wanted to dance without hesitation, sit cross-legged on the floor for family meals, and hug everyone goodbye without worrying about a thing.
